SOLOMON ISLANDS FIELD COURSE

This is a three-week course on island ecology, evolution and conservation. Through lectures, field observations and experiments, students will learn the basic principles of island ecology and conservation. In addition, students will participate in community outreach programs (i.e., grass roots conservation) and on-site field research. For Syracuse University students, this is a laboratory course that will count towards your major and fulfill your communications requirement (Biology 400). Follow the links to the left for more detailed information on the course.
